I have been trying to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society recently. The Todd Stiefel Freethought Foundation, through Foundation Beyond Belief, offered to match all funds raised for teams associated with FBB.
In addition, since I work for Robert Bosch Llc. I asked the company’s Fair Share Board to support my Light The Night Walk fundraising efforts. They agreed to match me up to $500 for the Bosch Lightwalkers – FBB team.
Tonight, in exchange for the privilege of shaving my head, a loose group of drinkers in a local bar gave me $58 toward the cause, which put Bosch Lightwalkers – FBB over that $500 double match point! Yay! 
If I get over half that amount ($29) from my InterTube friends, I’ll post a picture of how silly I look with no hair…
