“Bills normally output through Mac… Aleph? 2B, or not 2B? No, Mac Beth.”

“What’s in a name? Speak shortly.”

“Here, then.” Ariel tapped the chart with an optical cable.

“A broken fiber set the data’s path to this legacy Intel with Windows.”

Richard indicated the cable. “That light for the WIndows break?”

“Too late. It’s out. OUT! Damned SPOF… I believe it’s farked Oracle. Each backup, wiped in turn.”

“All yesterdays files?”

“Blotted away, data death. Left not a rack behind.”

“But how was the content of our Wintel disk made a spurious summary?”

“By this sundered port.”

(Exeunt omnes.)
